Southern Spring Fling
Operators, Coaches and Skaters:
The management and staff of the Sparkles Skating Rink at 665 Smyrna Hills Drive Smyrna Ga30082, along with Precision Racing and Pinnacle Racing would like to invite you to attend the Spring Fling Southern Style Invitational on March 16th, 17th, and 18th, 2012. The Sparkles Skating Rink has an 80' x 170' maple wood floor and a fresh coat of plastic will be applied before the meet. This event will be sanctioned by USAC/RS and all USAC/RS rules will be strictly enforced. We will be running the event as Nationals will run, Novice Elementary thru Novice Master Individuals with no Novice relays alone with Standard Elite races and relays. Awards will be given to all first, second, and third place winners in all divisions and elite relays. Cash prizes will be presented from Sophomore thru Esquire in Elite divisions. Awards for first thru fifth placements will be given for open events and overall high point standing. Outdoor event will be run Sunday afternoon March 18th.
The entry deadline is March 4th, 2012. Late entries will not be accepted. Phone in changes will be accepted until March 10th, 2012. All entry forms must be accompanied by a Club check or money order made payable to the Roswell Speed Team. (No personal checks please) Amateur card numbers must be included along with the name and phone number of the person completing the entry form. Skaters who have not received their permanent amateur card must fill out a single event registration form when you arrive at the meet. The cost is $20 per form. Entry forms are supplied. World Class Division $ 50.00 indoor One day pass: $ 5.00
Each additional event: $ 15.00
Outdoor Event $ 15.00 pre race World Class Division $ 20.00 pre race
Practice: Friday March 25th $ Free 12:00 to 2:00pm Programs $ 5.00
All original entries must be paid NO EXCEPTIONS . Send Check with entrees please.
Skaters will be separated into Standard and Novice individual divisions. Relay heat distances may be reduced depending on number of entries. Skaters may challenge up one division but cannot skate two divisions. Pick A Partners are available but must be indicated on the entry form please. The first 450 applicants will be accepted. We have the tentative schedule and hotel information.
